I was woken up at 7:30 this morning by someone at Baptist Beaches Hospital to pre-register me for my surgery!! She also told me that it would cost us $1561 after insurance (YIKES!!) I think that is when it finally sunk in that I am having surgery in 9 DAYS!! I am a worrier to begin with, so I am not coping so well. In other words I am terrified!! I have never had surgery before and I am honestly afraid.
I have my pre-op appointment with Dr. Brown on Friday morning at 8 and then I have my pre-op appointment at the hospital at 10 am. Luckily my husband is going with me so I won't be as nervous!! But, then he goes to Minnesota for work on Tuesday night and is gone until late Thursday night. He will be back just in time for my surgery on Friday.
My parents are flying in on Wednesday at noon and my husband's aunt is going with me to pick them up at the airport (I am terrified of flying and even going to the airport makes me queasy, so she is my life saver!!) Hopefully my nerves subside or this is going to be a long 9 days!!
